The quiet, level campsite is located an 800-metre walk from the centre of Meiringen. With only about 100 pitches, the atmosphere is relaxed. From the mostly sunny pitches, guests can enjoy the panoramic view of the Alpine peaks. Those who do not have their own equipment with them: How about a Swiss Wood House? The cosy wooden cabins are particularly suitable for hikers and bicycle tourists who want to travel comfortably with light luggage. In summer, a paddling pool is set up at the campsite. Alpencamping guests receive free admission to the outdoor swimming pool with the popular slide, the Meiringen indoor swimming pool and the Oberhasli skate park with the Haslital guest card. On the village tour, which is also free with the guest card, holidaymakers can learn more about local history and culture.

Anyone who wants to follow the famous master detective even more intensively: The Sherlock Holmes Museum awaits you in the English church in Meiringen. The Reichenbach Falls Railway takes you over filigree bridges to the 120-metre-high waterfall. This is where the author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle had his hero fight his last battle before Sherlock Holmes descended the dizzying heights!
