Many luxury mobile homes are available for campers without equipment. Some of the pitches are on terraces that rise slightly from the riverbank. You can enjoy a wonderful view from the terrace of some of the luxury domiciles. The well-maintained pitches are mostly grass or gravel. Bäume provide pleasant partial shade on many sites – after all, the region has around 340 sunny days per year.

The La Chapoulière campsite organises excursions, especially in the high season. Of course, you can always go on an individual tour. You can get lots of tips at the reception. For example, marvel at the Pont d’Arc, 12 kilometres away, the natural rock bridge over the Ardèche. The cave paintings of the Grotte Chauvet II and Provence are also not far away. A popular cycle tour takes you to nearby Ruoms for shopping. You can end an unforgettable holiday with an evening dance under the open sky – when family-friendly live music is played in the high season. Or you can enjoy a drink in the typically French, relaxed atmosphere. But please don't forget to enjoy local or international specialities in the terrace restaurant beforehand.
