Maistra’s largest campsite, Polari, is located in a serene bay near the town of Rovinj, where you can wake up surrounded by the sea, centuries-old olive trees, rows of cypresses and a fragrant pine forest. The campsite features numerous sports and entertainment activities for the whole family, a large pool complex and spray park, natural beaches, and bars and restaurants for quick refreshments during the day, or dinner savouring the local specialties. Rovinj is only 3.5 km away and can be reached by bike or on foot along the coastal cycling and walking trail.

Campsite Pitches

Camping positions begin on the very seafront and ascend gently to the shade of the fragrant pine forest. Choose your ideal location in natural surroundings on spacious pitches with all the necessary hook-ups, excellent amenities and camp facilities.

Mobile Homes

The mobile homes all feature a terrace, two or three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. You can choose a mobile home with your own hydromassage bathtub on the terrace. At the campsite, you will find swimming pools and a well-tended beach.

Sports & Entertainment

Plan your sports activities and entertainment for the whole family at the numerous sports courts and children’s playgrounds, in the sea or at the floating aqua park, or by hiring pedal boats or SUPs.

1. Where is the campsite located?

The campsite Polari is located near Rovinj on the west coast of Istria. The campsite stretches over 2 km along a picturesque bay with crystal clear water and a pebble beach.

2. How many pitches and rental accommodations does the campsite have?

The campsite Polari has 1,300 pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, all equipped with electricity and water connection. The pitches are between 80 and 120 m² in size and offer a lot of shade and privacy. There are also 550 rental accommodations, including mobile homes, bungalows and glamping tents, all comfortably furnished and with air conditioning, kitchen, bathroom and terrace.

3. What facilities does the campsite offer?

The campsite Polari offers a range of facilities for a pleasant and varied holiday. These include a large outdoor pool with water slides and a children’s pool, a wellness area with sauna, massage and cosmetics, a sports center with tennis courts, mini golf, table tennis, volleyball, basketball and football, a children’s playground with bouncy castle and trampoline, an animation team with daily activities and shows for children and adults, a bike rental, a diving center and a boat rental.

4. Is there a supermarket or a restaurant?

Yes, on the campsite Polari there is a supermarket that is open daily and offers fresh food, drinks, souvenirs and camping items. There are also several restaurants and bars on the site that serve a selection of local and international specialties. You can also use a barbecue area or have food delivered.

6. How do I get to the campsite?

You can reach the campsite Polari by car, bus or plane. If you come by car, take the highway A9 to the exit Rovinj South and then follow the signs to the campsite. If you come by bus, get off in Rovinj and take a taxi or a shuttle bus to the campsite. If you come by plane, fly to the airport of Pula or Rijeka and take a taxi or a shuttle bus to the campsite.

7. What can I do in the area?

You can do many activities in the area such as hiking, cycling, horse riding, sailing, surfing, kayaking, fishing or golfing. You can also visit the charming town of Rovinj or take a trip to the Brijuni National Park or the Limski Canal.

8. What attractions are there in the area?

In the area there are many attractions such as the old town of Rovinj with its narrow streets and colorful houses, the church of Saint Euphemia with its high bell tower, the aquarium of Rovinj with its exotic fish, the nature park Zlatni Rt with its Mediterranean plants or the artist village Grožnjan with its galleries and studios.

9. Is the campsite dog friendly?

Yes, the campsite Polari is dog friendly and allows dogs on all pitches and in some rental accommodations. There is also a dog beach, a dog park and a dog wash station. You have to keep your dog on a leash and follow the hygiene rules.
