Our tips for your Croatian glamping holidays

• Tuna or pasta with truffles, mussel plates or cevapcici - in the local Konobas you can eat comfortably, for example on the rustic terrace of the "Casa mia", in the Konoba Ancora in Premantura - or in the Konoba Batana in Fazana. Only a short walk away: the Adriatic restaurant with a view of Medulin

• Hike around the bay - through pines and olive groves, between which flocks of sheep often graze. Perhaps you can see the friendly looking Boškarin riners with their long horns? They were used in traditional Istrian agriculture as reliable workhorses. Or you can admire the diverse inhabitants of the underwater world - in the aquarium in Rovinj's renowned marine research institute.
• A particularly tasty and very healthy souvenir: the local olive oil. Istria received the award for "Best Olive Oil Region in the World" in 2016 and 2017, and again in 2018!

From the veranda of your glamping lodge on the Adriatic Sea or from the stylish restaurant terrace you have a view of the turquoise blue sea. The freshly grilled steaks or seafood, crunchy salads, and more taste twice as good with a view like that. At the rustic Caffé-Bar you can have an espresso or cappuccino and decide if you want to learn the fascinating sport of windsurfing. If so, then why not here at the southern tip of Istria with favourable Adriatic winds, Mediterranean temperatures, and mostly warm sea water...

Bathe and discover, play, and chill

Just look forward to the pool or jump into a large wooden tub to relax - the whirlpools will delight you with their underwater massage and particularly attractive design. You can go on tour with the rental bike, or you can relax at the pebble beach (don’t forget to take bathing shoes with you).
