Beach, pools, slides – Family holidays in the Languedoc
The Californie Plage campsite, just under six hectares in size, has been designed like a beach and lakeside park. The sunny or semi-shaded pitches are lined with well-kept hedges, poplars and palm trees. You reach the beach after a few steps – it is sandy to fine gravel. At the water's edge, a row of stones is partly piled up, interrupted by easily accessible, wide bathing bays. At the seaside, you can strengthen yourself under the bast roofs of the bar or stroll through the medieval-style village square of Californie Plage. Maybe you'll do a bit of shopping, have a drink at the pirate bar or stop off at the terrace restaurant. In the seaside resort of Vias-sur-Mer you will find many other gastronomic and shopping offers.
Pool and pirates ahoy – a „castle tower“ rises up at the Californie Plage adventure pool
It is the landmark of the elegant and family-friendly pool complex! But beware of the „giant shark“ and the sea monsters! Inside and outside you can splash, slide or chill with your little ones to your heart's content! Ideal for warm water pirates, especially for holidays in low season: on colder days, part of the pool complex is covered. And the water is heated! When the little pool pirates are not yet tired in the evening – spectacular family shows take place in front of the pirate ship! During the day, too, the animation team comes up with fun, age-appropriate games and sports activities. A children's garden will delight the young guests of Camping Californie Plage. Here, the little ones can work the garden under expert guidance. They see flowers or lettuce growing, help with watering, weeding or harvesting. The bigger kids and adults compete on the multi-sports field. Or would you like to try archery?
