Relaxing family holidays by the lake and in the mountains

Camping Sutz is located directly on Lake Biel in the Aar lake district. The mainly flat grounds of the 4-star camping park are characterised by lawns and Bäumen. No camping equipment of your own for the tent meadow or no caravan with you? Camping Sutz also rents out barrel huts and other cosy, comfortable camping accommodation. It is only a few steps from the camping pitches to the large sunbathing lawn on the lakeshore. The clean water of Lake Biel invites you to swim at the beach and jetty. Volleyball players will find a beach volleyball court. Those interested can book a beginner's SUP course at the lake. Those who prefer to be sailed can take the excursion boats from Biel. Before that, a visit to the particularly well-preserved, mainly traffic-calmed Biel old town with its countless small, owner-run shops is recommended.

Be active and creative with the whole family

There are numerous hiking and cycling routes around the Lakeland. Those who don't have their bikes with them can rent an e-bike or a normal bike from a nearby rental company. Fitness and skill are in demand at disc golf at Camping Sutz: a disc or a Frisbee must be thrown into special baskets. The "Käsezelt” is a regular guest at Camping Sutz. Walter Ryser offers workshops on cooking over an open fire for campers and day guests. Of course, there will also be tasting!
