Tips

• Free of charge including the return trip is a hike to Innsbruck. The hiking trail leads directly from the square down to nearby Innsbruck. You should take your time and plan for around two hours and take a break in between, picnic, and enjoy the view of Tyrol's capital. Completely relaxed. Can also be done with children. On the return journey you can come home with the post bus. It departs from Innsbruck station and stops 18 minutes later directly in front of the reception at Natterer See. It doesn't cost anything, by the way ,if you have your guest card with you.
• Priceless: the view from the square to the alpine peaks of the Innsbruck Nordkette is sensational. For this alone it is worth the stay at Natterer See
• Ride to Mount Isel, the fateful mountain Tyrol, marvel at the huge ski jump, visit the ‘Berg Isel’ Museum and learn more about the proud Tyroleans and their struggle for freedom and independence. Then chill on the terrace of the restaurant 1809 with a nice cup of coffee and eat an original Tyrolean apple strudel, they are delicious!
