Maupassant

On the campsite

The family-friendly campsite Mauspassant**** on the Alabaster Coas

  • Quiet and family campsite
  • Water skiing & summer toboggan run
  • Experience the highlights of the coast by bike

Hiking or cycling, no need for a car here!

Just a short walk from the campsite is the beach at Veulettes sur Mer! They say you can get the best french fries in the region here...

But Normandy also offers plenty of other things to explore! Sometimes the beautiful is closer than you think...

Visit the village of Vittefleur which is within walking distance. Vittefleur, which has existed since the Merovingian period (5th century AD), is surrounded by market gardens, fields and mills, this village boasts local producers of fruit and vegetables and producers of local cider and calvados. Between the well-preserved buildings, the great view of the river and the lake, you will also find everything for your daily needs such as a grocery shop and a bakery.

But the huge leisure centre around the 125-hectare Lac de Caniel is certainly the highlight of the village! A water ski cableway, a summer toboggan run, restaurant and much more awaits the guest...

On walking distance to the coast...

The Maupasant campsite offers various well-equipped accommodations, spacious pitches and many activities in the surrounding area.

Splashing around in the heated pool? Have fun on the bouncy castle or play in the playground! Your kids will love it too, won't they? Knickers was yesterday, why not try the "French national sport" Jeu de Boule, something for the whole family! Wi-Fi is available to guests free of charge.

Fishing is, after all, supposedly "The most unsuspected way of doing nothing." The guests also get their money's worth, because at the river "La Durdent", which is just around the corner, everyone can find a fishing spot!
