Mountain sports, hiking, wellness and relaxation at Camping Muglin
Situated on a former farm, the small Camping Park Muglin is on the edge of the Swiss Alpine Nature Park Biosfera Val Müstair. Large grassy pitches with water, sewage, electricity and WiFi offer campers with caravans or motorhomes plenty of comfort. A cosy sauna area has been set up in the former hayloft of the farm. Hikers can set out on tours from Camping Muglin: The Rambach flows directly along the camping park. There is a waterfall only 600 metres away. The Kloster Sankt Johann, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is less than a ten-minute walk away.
Many leisure facilities within walking distance
A public playground, barbecue area, tennis court and football field are only a few hundred metres away, as is the tranquil village centre with bus stop, shops and restaurants. Animal lovers will enjoy the petting zoo close to the site – even llama trekking is possible. Holidaymakers can buy local specialities in a farm shop. Those who want to relax in an indoor pool can visit the swimming pool in the nearby Hotel Löwen. Holidaymakers will find outdoor pool fun in Prad. Parents and children can learn more about the flora and fauna of the Alps on the themed trails, such as the Bärenweg or the nature trail. There are also tours to the Stilfserjoch National Park, to Südtirol or to Scuol. Horse riding at the nearby Paclerahof or MTB tours (rental at the Muglin campsite) are also possible.
