• Tip for outings: In the nearby harbour town of Portese you board a Lake Garda steamer and take a boat trip to the nearby Isola del Garda. Here you visit the splendid palace of the Cavazza family, wander through the beautiful gardens and the nearby mixed forest with cypresses, acacias and pines. Breathtaking. • Active tip: Get on your bike and do a little lap to warm up. Try an 18 kilometre loop from San Felice via Portese to Cisano and back. More tips for cycling and hiking tours at the reception
• Hiking tip: The best way to get to San Nico is by car. From there you can go on a little mountain tour to Monte Pizzocolo. A hiking trail leads you through a small forest and over mountain meadows to the lookout point at 1500 metres above sea level. Here you can see the Po plain in the south and Monte Rosa in Switzerland. Afterwards we go over the Passo dello Spino on the hiking trail no. 5 back to San Nico. An experience!
