Look forward to walking directly from Camping La Balena Allegre to the sandy beach. Here you can swim, chill, play beach ball or volleyball and build sandcastles out of the fine sand with your kids. If you want to learn kitesurfing or windsurfing , the professionals at the ION CLUB are the right people for you. Here you can also rent a standup paddleboard. Or would you rather go for a deep dive ? Then you can take diving courses according to the standards of the SSI (Scuba Schools International) they are offered in several languages.

But also for sports on land we have exactly the right thing for you. Ever played padel tennis or beach soccer?

Cool kids can conquer the skate ramp. If you want to do sports health-consciously, the aerobics and spinning classes are just right for you. Or you train on the modern strength or endurance equipment of the fitness studio. It is pleasantly flooded by the fresh Mediterranean air - but as protection against the often shining sun, it is also roofed.

You can swim outside in the pool or splash around with your younger kids in the shallow children's pool. The campsite La Ballena Alegre is located on the Costa Brava, in Sant Pere Pescador, directly on the fine sandy beach. It is about 5 km south of Sant Pere Pescador and 15 km from Figueres.

How many pitches and rental accommodations does the campsite have?

The campsite has 809 parcelled pitches for holidaymakers, which are between 100 and 120 m² in size. The pitches are equipped with electricity, water and sewage connections. In addition, the campsite has 316 rental accommodations, including bungalows, mobile homes and glamping tents. The rental accommodations are modern and comfortable and have air conditioning, heating, kitchen, bathroom and terrace. Some rental accommodations also have their own pool.

How do I get to the campsite?

The campsite is located about 5 km south of Sant Pere Pescador on the Ctra. Sant Martí d’Empúries s/n. You can reach the campsite by car, bus or train.

By car: If you are coming from Barcelona, take the AP-7 motorway to exit 5 (L’Escala/Empúries). Then follow the signs to L’Escala and Sant Martí d’Empúries. If you are coming from France, take the AP-7 motorway to exit 3 (Figueres/Roses). Then follow the signs to Roses and Sant Pere Pescador.

By bus: There are regular bus connections from Barcelona, Girona and Figueres to Sant Pere Pescador. The bus stop is about 5 km from the campsite. You can then take a taxi or a shuttle bus to get to the campsite.

By train: The nearest train station is Figueres-Vilafant, which is about 15 km from the campsite. From there you can take a bus or a taxi to get to the campsite.
